Sparrow class is a mixed ability Key Stage 4 class with 8 pupils aged between 14 and 16. Lessons in Key Stage 4 are themed around our termly topics.

The Importance of the Land. |
With a wide range of needs in our class, we recognise that pupils learn at their own pace and require a differentiated approach to learning. We emphasize sensory-based and practical lessons, accompanied by access to alternative forms of communication.
Pupils participate in a range of National Curriculum subjects including Maths, English, Science, PE, Art, PSHE and ICT. Alongside this, pupils take part in life-skills lessons, Attention Autism sessions, Finger Gym and TEACCH workbox tasks.
Our Key Stage 4 pupils are also allowed to gain AQA accreditation in a range of subjects including Maths, English and Science.
